Teleconferences/Webinars and Webcasts
NRCPFC Teleconferences/Webinars: NRCPFC teleconferences/webinars provide a forum for participants to share their experiences in implementing improved child welfare practices and learn about national trends and research findings. Each teleconference/webinar concludes with a question and answer period. Most teleconferences include a webinar option, allowing participants to view a presentation online while listening via phone. NRCPFC teleconferences are free of charge and are open to state program managers in foster care and adoption, as well as anyone working, involved, or interested in the field of child welfare. Most teleconferences/webinars are held on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:30 PM EST.
To participate in a Teleconference/Webinar: You must register for each teleconference that you want to participate in. When registration for a teleconference opens, it is announced in Weekly Update, NRCPFC's weekly newsletter. Once registration is announced, you can sign up online. Each teleconference/webinar is open to 100 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registered participants receive a confirmation email which includes the call-in details and presentation website link. Registered participants receive a unique call-in pass code which cannot be used by more than one caller. As there are a limited number of phone lines available for each call, if you would like to include others in the call, we encourage you to participate together using a speaker phone.
